Answer:

Whether you are using a computer or a smart phone, you must login to the system from a browser. Application entries will be available later.

2. How do I log into the system for the first time (how do I create my account)?

Answer:

After clicking the Microsoft button on the home page, you can create your account in the system with your university e-mail address and password and log in to the system for the first time.

3. How do I enroll here for the courses I took in OBS?

Answer:

Your enrollment for the courses you take in OBS will be made by the relevant instructor. If your name is not included in any of your courses, find the name of the instructor of the course in your weekly schedule (their email addresses are name.surname@ostimteknik.edu.tr) and send an email asking him/her to enroll you in the course. You can also ask your department assistants to enroll you in your courses. You can find the name of your assistants on the web page of your department.

4. I already had an OTUZEM account, why do I need to open a new account now?

Answer:

Your previous account was associated with an earlier version of Moodle. This account is associated with a new one that is running on a different server.

5. Will we use this system only in online courses?

Answer:

This system can be used in both online and formal education models. Educational management systems, in both models, help the courses to be conducted more effectively.

6. Will I join Teams sessions of online courses from here?

Answer:

Unless the course instructor specifies otherwise, you will participate in Teams sessions here. Make sure you are signed into your Microsoft account at https://teams.microsoft.com in a different browser tab before entering sessions.
